The Manchester Community Health Trainer programme
is a national initiative specially designed to help tackle health
inequalities. We recruit Health Trainers from local communities to
provide support and encouragement to help people lead a healthy
lifestyle. Health Trainers can help with food and nutrition,
physical activity, stop smoking, safer drinking, tackling stress,
relaxation and sleep.
The Health Trainer service is open to anyone aged 18 or over who
lives or has a GP in Manchester.
To find out general information about the service or to find
your local Health Trainer contact Aurora Robb.
