Manchester Public Health Development Service (MPHDS) is committed to promoting the health and wellbeing of all people who live or work in the city. Our teams include:

From 1st April 2011 MPHDS became part of the Manchester Mental Health & Social Care Trust and are positioned within the Health and Wellbeing Care Group.

The Public Health Development Service (PHDS) is a citywide service contracted by NHS Manchester, which has a lead responsibility for improving the health of people across the city.
