You can stay up-to-date throughout your career, enabling you to do your job effectively and more efficiently. Here is a selection of resources for keeping up-to-date:

Up2date is a bulletin published fortnightly by 5 Boroughs Partnership Knowledge and Library Services to help support you in your practice. To register or receive a sample copy please email library.5bp@5bp.nhs.uk

Current Bytes is published fortnightly by Merseycare NHS Knowledge Service to help keep you up-to-date with new research, news and policy updates. To register please email rathbone.library@merseycare.nhs.uk

The Library and Information Health Network North West offer a choice of horizon scanning bulletins

Run by Andre Tomlin, The Mental Elf aims to keep people interested in mental health up-to-date with reliable research, policy and guidance.

Current Awareness Service for Health (CASH) is a collaborative service provided by Librarians in England. It aims to keep health professional up-to-date with new developments for the benefit of patient care and improved decision making.

Anyone can set up alerts with Healthcare Databases advanced search (HDAS). To do this go to HDAS and login via ATHENS. You can then run searches and save and create alerts for them using the save selected rows or save all buttons.
