We are a professional library information and resource service
available to all Trust staff, with services also available to NHS
community healthcare staff and health promoters working in the city
of Manchester. The
Health Information and Resources Library is based in
Fallowfield, and the Outreach Librarian can visit Trust staff in
their workplace. We work closely with the University Hospital
of South Manchester, NHS Foundation Trust, Education
& Research Centre Library. For Central Manchester

Library News
The Lancet is the world's leading independent
medical journal. For 2012, all NHS staff and anyone eligible for an
NHS Athens account will continue to have access
to the online version for the next 3 years through NHS
Evidence. The subscription has been funded by NICE and includes
access from 2008. You can access the Lancet via our A-Z, follow
the link to Elsevier Science Direct, and login with your Athens
username and password.
What we do
We support your evidence-based practice and lifelong learning by
providing access to information, and provide resources to support
your health promotion work. We can help with:
