Support Workers

Support Workers help service users in their day to day lives by offering:

  • Support with budgeting skills such as claiming benefits, dealing with debts and setting up payment schemes for utilities.
  • Support in developing domestic routines.
  • Advice about home safety and security.
  • Liaison with other agencies such as the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), GP's and utility companies.
  • Support in maintaining and establishing social networks.
  • Advice about personal care routines.
  • Help with activities such as meal planning and preparation and shopping.
  • Advice and support about daytime activity and access to day centres, training and employment.
