The Trust gives notice that it
will hold elections to the Council of Governors of the Manchester
Mental Health and Social Care Trust.
Elections are to be held for the following positions:
14 Public Governors in the following constituencies:
- Public: North Manchester (5 vacancies)
- Public: South Manchester (5 vacancies)
- Public: Greater Manchester (3 vacancies)
- Public: Out of Area (1 vacancy)
4 Staff Governors in the following constituencies:
- Staff: Registered Medical Practitioners (1 vacancy)
- Staff: Registered and non-registered Nurses (1 vacancy)
- Staff: Non-Clinical and Management (1 vacancy)
- Staff: Social Care and Therapies (1 vacancy)
A nomination form to stand for election to these positions can
be obtained from the Returning Officer at the address

All nomination papers should be received by the Returning
Officer, Caroline Hinchcliffe, at the address as detailed below, by
5pm on Tuesday 21 February 2012.

Faxed or emailed nominations will not be accepted.
Should any nominee wish to withdraw their nomination, they must
put this in writing to the returning officer by 5pm on Friday 24
February,
Ballot papers will be distributed to qualifying members on
Monday 12 March. Completed ballot papers must be received by the
Independent Scrutineer by 5pm on Friday 30th March 2012.
