Welcome To The Trust
Core Standards Declaration 08-09
Care Quality Commission Annual Health Check 2008/09
Manchester Mental Health and Social Care Trust brings together social care and health services for adults of working age with severe and enduring mental health problems, and provides NHS services for the elderly mentally ill. We were one of the first Care Trusts in the country and were set up in April 2002.
We are committed to developing the participation of service users, patients and carers throughout the organisation and to ensuring that our services and structures reflect the diverse communities of Manchester.
Our aim is for the Trust to be a learning organisation, providing quality services, which supports staff development and increases job satisfaction. Our education and training strategy recognises the changing environment within which mental health services are delivered and reflects local needs and national standards, including the National Service Framework for Mental Health.
